BRMC Holiday Party

  • Border Riders Motorcycle Club BC | WA | OR (map)

It's time once again for the BRMC Holiday Party Extravaganza® and Gift Exchange™. This year the celebration will take place December 9th at the country estate of your Road Captain, Todd McN and his loving husband, Christian B. Registration is open but will close on Wednesday, December 6th at Midnight, so get it while the getting's good!

What day will this glorious event take place?: Saturday, December 9th.

What time should I be there?: 3pm, but feel free to show up anytime after noon.

Should I bring a gift?: Absolutely! Though this is not mandatory. Please feel free to bring a gift for the gift exchange. The general rule is to keep it around $20, but I am not sure what you can by for a Jackson these days... maybe a sandwich? Who knows? Feel free to make it more or less if you would like. The point is to have fun and be creative. Money is a construct.

Will there be food?: Why, yes Ethel, there will be food. Your host will be preparing one of his favorite meals. He is excited to share it with you and hopes you all enjoy yourselves.

Should I bring anything?: Other than yourself, no. Everything is covered.

Bremerton seems a longways away... is it on an island? Do I have to take a boat? What happens if I miss the ferry? Will I have to swim back, like in War Games?: We are not on an island, we are on a peninsula, you won't float away. You can get here via ferry, bridge, or roadway. It's all your choice! In the event of a late night, we have an extra bedroom with a full size bed up for grabs (first to get it, get's it). We also have a large living room and a couple of inflatable mattresses. If you are planning on spending the night, please let me know and I will get things set up. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow. We have some things, but not everything. Be warned, the dogs and the cat are free range creatures. They have the run of the house at night. You may be rudely awoken by a slobbery dog tongue being drug across your face. It means she likes you... we've decided to find it "charming".

I hate your house/dogs/cat and find your view gives me vertigo: There are plenty of hotels in the area. I would recommend the two downtown, on the water, next to the ferry terminal. The motels out on the old highway can get a bit methy.

I hope you all can make it. It should be a fun night.
